“Volunteers: For The Sake Of Others” Premieres On September 12
GoodLife TV Network Series Salutes Volunteers and Challenges Viewers to Get Involved
GoodLife TV Network’s newest original series salutes true unsung heroes, and issues a challenge to Americans to join their ranks. Volunteers: For the Sake of Others debuts September 12 at 8:00 p.m. to explore the culture of Americans helping others, from next-door neighbors to needy people around the globe.

Former NY and Washington, DC veteran news anchor Doris McMillon will host Volunteers: For the Sake of Others and each week will highlight inspiring true stories of how Americans, individually and together, have worked to improve the lives of others. McMillon will find out what compels these heroes to reach out and lend a helping hand, and show GoodLife TV Network viewers how they, too, can get involved.

“Volunteers: For the Sake of Others is both a salute and a call to action,” said Lawrence Meli, President and COO of GoodLife TV Network. “As a nation, we enjoy many blessings, not the least of which is the ability to share our skills and experiences with others, and we envision this program to be a road map that will help each of us realize we can do more to help those who are less fortunate.”

Thirteen episodes of Volunteers: For the Sake of Others are slated for its debut season, and will air every Monday and Friday night at 8:00 p.m. on GoodLife TV. The premiere episode will feature the work of Haven of Grace, a battered-women’s shelter located in Washington, D.C.

Volunteers: For the Sake of Others is the fourth original series to premiere this year on the GoodLife TV Network as part of its ongoing commitment to deliver compelling and relevant family-friendly programming.
