AMERICANLIFE TV NETWORK LAUNCHES ON CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS IN WESTERN MICHIGAN
WASHINGTON, DC - AmericanLife TV Network SM (www.americanlifetv.com), the cable network devoted to the Baby Boomer generation, has launched on Charter Communications Digital tier serving Western Michigan. This launch includes the communities of Kalamazoo, Grand Haven, Big Rapids and Greenville. AmericanLife TV Network can be viewed on channel 220.

Program genres on AmericanLife TV Network include:
  • Classic TV: Prime time programming includes classics such as The Mary Tyler Moore Show, WKRP in Cincinnati, Hill Street Blues, The Color Honeymooners, Lost in Space, The Bob Newhart Show and Combat!.
  • Socially-Conscious Original Programming: Dedicated to informing, educating and advocating for humanitarian causes across the globe, recent specials include A Journey to Darfur, documenting AmericanLife TVs host and veteran journalist Nick Clooney and his son George Clooneys journey to the refugee camps of Darfur, and their efforts to focus the worlds attention on this ongoing genocide. Currently in production, Poverty in America follows Martin Luther King III as he tours the nation, visiting some of America's most disadvantaged communities with the goal of putting poverty back in the national spotlight.
  • Lifestyle Programming: Airing Saturday Primetime and weekdays, lifestyle programs share solutions to everyday problems and suggest healthy ways to live. Save Our House, Save Our Family combines the relationship and renovation reality television genres to help build better homes and families. Fixing Dinner, helps brings families together at dinnertime by getting everyone to help with meal planning and simple but delicious recipes. Til Debt Do U$ Part helps couples sinking in debt to deal with their troubled finances, getting them on a budget and back on track.
